What is Upcycling?
Upcycling = "Up"grade + re"cycling", a combination of two words that means "reuse". Upcycling is the process of taking a product that would otherwise be thrown away and turning it into a new product by adding value to it, rather than recycling it.
Rather than producing multiple products with the same fabric, we collect unusable jeans and upcycle them, making each product unique and valuable because it is made by human hands.
Fashion and ecology
My business involves taking jeans or other clothes that are no longer worn, too big or too small, then cutting them up and transforming them into handbags, backpacks, fanny packs, traval pouch and much more !
My goal is to produce quality items, while reducing our environmental impact. I am proud to contribute to the preservation of our planet while offering practical and elegant products.

Originally from South Korea and based in France since 2014.
After numerous experiences serving large companies in various fields, I am taking on the challenge of creating my company in 2024 to devote myself to my passion.
Indeed, having been passionate about sewing for several years, I like to create bags that can suit everyone, especially with jeans. Jeans come in different colors and materials, and I have fun combining them with different accessories or sewing them to create new objects. Thanks to the unique designs, no bag created by Madame Joseph will ever be the same!
